originated the role of rough-around-the-edges Zander Smith on General Hospital in July, 2000. Chad's entrance into the world of acting was anything but typical. His first experience in acting was the result of a dare when he auditioned for a high school play and surprised himself by landing the lead role.
Acting came naturally for Chad and his passion for the craft grew. He continued to perform in high school productions. He went on to study acting at Sam Houston State University and pursued acting professionally in Houston.
