Carson Daly
In addition to his television work, Daly hosts two nationally syndicated radio programs - Carson Daly's Most Requested and Out of the Box – both carried in 140 markets by Premiere Radio Networks. He recently announced the formation of his own record label distributed by Loud Records.
From an early age, Carson developed an interest in the entertainment industry due in no small measure to his mother being an actress and radio personality. He began his career in entertainment as an intern at a Palm Springs radio station, KCMJ, where, after a short stint in the radio trenches, he was promoted to producer of the morning show. In less than three years, Daly rose through the ranks of radio in four different cities and in the summer of 1996, he landed one of the most coveted positions in radio - that of the early evening voice at the influential and top-rated KROQ-FM in Los Angeles.
A year later, Daly landed at MTV as host of the cable network's highest-rated show, TRL. While at TRL, Daly has interviewed such diverse celebrities as Tom Cruise, Madonna, Britney Spears, Will Smith and Adam Sandler. He has also hosted many successful television specials, including Millennium Celebration in Times Square, MTV's Spring Break and TRL at the Superbowl.
Daly attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where he studied theology. An avid golfer, Daly was also a regular on the amateur golf circuit. Daly currently resides in New York City.
