Dennis Rodman

Dennis Rodman is one of today's most colorful personalities both on and off the court. A seasoned ten year veteran of the NBA, he has become a dynamic force in professional basketball. Rodman has held the title of rebound champion for the last five consecutive years which places him in the company of such basketball greats as Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell.

Rodman started his NBA career as a forward on the championship Detroit Pistons, moved to the San Antonio Spurs, then was traded to the Chicago Bulls in October of 1995. This move was a key factor in the Bulls, 72 win championship season. To the delight of his fans and teammates, Rodman signed a one year contract (August of '96) to return to his roll as power forward to the Chicago Bulls for the 1996-1997 season.

His growing list of endorsements is a tribute to his success on the court and off. Such companies as: Oakley, Nike, Upper Deck, Carl's Jr., Choice Inns, McDonald's, Converse, MisticBeverages and Pizza Hut all report overwhelming success in their campaigns as a result of his participation. Rodman can also be seen in the Victoria's Secret Silhouette Bra campaign, as well as the Milk Councils Milk Mustache campaign.

Rodman has also managed to become a TV celebrity as well. He has enjoyed cameo roles on television shows such as Misery Loves Company, Courthouse and the '96 season premiere of 3rd Rock From the Sun. The Tonight Show With Jay Leno enjoyed record viewing ratings as a result of Rodman visiting and assisting Jay in hosting the show. Rodman also co-hosted the popular Chicago NBC Sports Sunday show, and was a twice weekly regularly scheduled commentator on Chicago's WMVP sports talk station.

He is currently the star of the popular MTV show The Dennis Rodman World Tour. Hosted by Dennis Rodman, the show takes viewers all over the globe following Rodman and his friends as they go adventure-hunting.

Rodman has also participated in the feature film Eddie, starring Whoopi Goldberg, and the soon-to-be-released BAPS, starring Halle Berry.

The success of Rodman's book Bad As I Wanna Be, a true account of Rodman's life, and his rise through the professional world of basketball, entered the market number one on the New York Times Bestseller List, enjoyed eight weeks in that spot, and continues to be a best seller today.

In the off basketball season, Rodman enjoys traveling, or relaxing at his homes both in San Antonio, Texas and Newport Beach, California. The now single Rodman, has an eight year-old daughter who lives with her mother in California.
