Elizabeth Hartman
Elizabeth Hartman was an American actress. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, she debuted in the 1965 film A Touch of Blue, a role which garnered here a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
She went on to star in three well-received film, The Group, You're a Big Boy Now and The Beguiled, but continuing depression interfered with her career. In 1987, she jumped from a fifth floor window in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after calling her psychiatrist to tell him that she was feeling despondent.
