Molly Ringwald
Molly Ringwald has been seen most recently on the stage in the off-Broadway production Modern Orthodox, the London production of
When Harry Met Sally, and the Tony-nominated production
Enchanted April. She has also appeared off-Broadway in
Tick Tick Boom and on Broadway, playing the legendary Sally Bowles in
Cabaret. Her recent film credits include the Australian film
Cut,
In the Weeds, and
Cowboy Up.
She began her film career at the age of 13 in Paul Mazursky's The Tempest, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. She also starred in a number of well-loved coming-of-age movies, including Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink. In 1992, Ms. Ringwald moved to Paris and acted in such foreign films as Seven Sundays and Jean-Luc Goddard's King Lear. Her television credits include the series Townies, Stephen King's The Stand, and the Emmy-nominated Allison Gertz Story. Ms. Ringwald most recently starred in a national theater tour of Sweet Charity.
