Soleil Moon Frye
Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Frye grew up in an entertainment household and began acting at the tender age of 5. After graduating from high school in her post-'Punky' years, Frye moved to New York City and attended the New School for Social Research, studying social psychology, literature and drama. During college, Frye made her directorial debut with the feature film Lunch Time Special, which she wrote and co-directed with her brother, Meeno Peluce.
Returning to television, Frye guest-starred on many different shows, including her role on Friends as the petite and overly feisty girlfriend of Matt LeBlanc's character, and on Working. Her television movie credits include the Emmy Award-winning Who Will Love My Children? co-starring Ann Margaret and Fredric Forrest, The Secret and I've Been Waiting for You.
On the big screen, Frye starred in the independent feature The Girls' Room and just completed work on Sex and a Girl.
On stage, she's won rave reviews from the Los Angeles critics for her lead performances in the West Coast Playhouse productions of The Housekeeper and Orestes, I Murdered My Mother, for which she received a Drama Critic's Performance Award. She also appeared in the New York production of Cloud Nine.
Currently living in Los Angeles, CA, Frye is actively involved in many children's charities.
