Nicole Ari Parker knew that she always wanted to be an actress. In her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland she participated in the Baltimore Actors Theatre and the Washington Ballet Company before moving to New York to study acting at New York University. Parker is a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts, Circle in the Square studio.

Her film credits include Blue Streak, Boogie Nights, The End of Violence, Subway Stories, 200 Cigarettes and Sebastian Cole, a winner at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival.

In August 1999 Parker received a special award at the Urban-World Film Festival in New York where the jury cited her outstanding body of work. Parker appeared in four of the festival's featured films: Blue Streak and the independent movies Mute Love, Loving Jezabel and Divas.

On television she appeared in the Wonderful World of Disney's The Loretta Claiborne Story, with Camryn Manheim and Kimberly Elise. Other television credits include Exiled, Mind Prey and Divas.

Parker has an extensive background in theatre. Some of her many performances on stage include Chicago, House of Lear and Romeo and Juliet.

Nicole Parker makes her screen debut with The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love. An accomplished actress who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Tisch School of the Arts Circle in the Square Studio, Ms. Parker is a native of Baltimore. Her stage work in New York has included roles with Naked Angels, Metropolitan Playhouse and the Circle Rep Laboratory. She recently appeared in a workshop production of House of Lear at the Public Theatre. Born in 1972, Parker currently lives in Manhattan where she studies with Tony Greco and earns her living as an off-Broadway actress. She is also a published poet, with work included in an anthology of young poets entitled New Breezes.
