Biography #2 (for Jackpot)

Anthony Edwards is best known as Dr. Mark Green on ER, for which he received three SAG Awards (Outstanding male Performer in a Drama Series, 1996 and Best Ensemble Cast in 1998 and 1999), a Golden Globe Award and four Emmy nominations. His other notable television projects include appearances on Northern Exposure and It Takes Two, and the television movies: El Diablo, Hometown Boy Makes Good, Going for the Gold: The Bill Johnson Story, High School USA, The Killing of Randy Webster, Sexual Healing (for which he earned a Cable Ace Best Actor nomination) and In Cold Blood. He was recently seen on TV in Don't Go Breaking My Heart, which he executive produced through his company, Aviator Films. They also produced the NBC movie Borderline starring Sherry Stringfeld.

Edwards has appeared in many feature films, including: Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Revenge of the Nerds (and its sequel), Gotcha!, The Sure Thing, Top Gun, Mr. North, Delta Heat, The Client and Playing By Heart. He made his directorial debut with Charlie's Ghost Story, a modern-day Mark Twain adaptation starring Cheech Marin and Linda Fiorentino. On stage, Edwards has appeared in: Grand Junction, Daniel in Babylon, Beautiful Dreamer, Key Exchange, Harvey, Boys Next Door and Ten Below.
