David Dukes
In a career that spanned more than 30 years, Dukes appeared in over 35 movies, including the Academy Award-nominated Gods and Monsters. He was a regular on both The Mommies and Sisters, and had a recurring role on Dawson's Creek. He guest-starred on many other series, including Harry O, Ally McBeal, The Practice and Law & Order. In a controversial episode of All in the Family, he played Edith Bunker's attempted rapist.
Sadly, Stephen King's Rose Red was the actor's final production. He unexpectedly collapsed at a sports center near Tacoma, Washington, on a day off from filming, and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
