Biography #2 (for Outta Time)

Ali Landry is quickly becoming one of Hollywood's hottest new stars. After gaining instant fame during the 1998 Super Bowl telecast when she was featured in a commercial for Doritos chips, Landry's name and face have become instantly recognizable. The huge success of the Doritos commercial landed Landry a three-year contract to make a series of commercials for the company, with her most recent ad debuting during the 2001 Super Bowl.

She has since made the successful transition to acting, and recently co-starred in Destination Films' Beautiful, directed by Sally Field and starring Minnie Driver. She also had a recurring role on WB's popular drama Felicity and just wrapped production as the title role in the feature film Repli-Kate, from the producers of American Pie. She also co-hosts the weekly music/talk show FarmClub.com, which airs on USA Network. Other credits include appearing in a music video for 98 Degrees, co-hosting the UPN series America's Greatest Pets and a recurring role on the syndicated action drama Pensacola: Wings of Gold.

Landry moved to Los Angeles from the small town of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, to obtain her bachelor's degree from UCLA. The statuesque beauty was soon being wooed by several producers and landed a recurring role on Aaron Spelling's daytime drama Sunset Beach. Additional guest-star appearances include roles in ABC's Two Guys and A Girl, WB's Popular and FOX's Significant Others. Landry also hosted the ABC special "The Best Commercials You've Never Seen .. And Some You Have."

A trained dancer in jazz, tap and ballet of 15 years, Landry also enjoys kickboxing and gymnastics.
