Biography #2 (for Fastlane)Peter Facinelli has emerged as one of Hollywood's most sought-after young actors, thanks to several eclectic and impressive performances. On the big screen, Facinelli received rave reviews for his performance opposite Kevin Spacey and Danny DeVito in The Big Kahuna, which debuted at the Toronto and Sundance Film Festivals.
He recently appeared in The Scorpion King starring The Rock, and Riding in Cars with Boys, which was directed by Penny Marshall and starred Drew Barrymore.
Facinelli's other film credits include Tempted, Rennie's Landing, Supernova, Honest and the independent film Blue Ridge Falls opposite Amy Irving. He also appeared in Can't Hardly Wait opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt, Dancer, Texas Pop. 81, Telling You, Touch Me, Foxfire and Angela, the latter winner of the Filmmaker's Trophy at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival.
Facinelli was born and raised in New York, attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and worked as an actor there until he won a role in the television movie After Jimmy, which brought him to Los Angeles. Additional television credits include lead roles in the movies Calm at Sunset, An Unfinished Affair and The Price of Love.
