Biography #2 (for Piñata)

An accomplished dancer, actress Jaime Pressly displays her natural talents portraying Audrey Griffin, an aspiring Broadway dancer, on The WB series Jack and Jill. This ensemble drama features some of the hottest talent on the WB including Amanda Peet and Ivan Sergei.

Earlier this year Pressly completed work on four feature films. First up, Pressly stars as Claire Manning, the female lead in Filmwerks Ticker, opposite Dennis Hopper, Steven Segal, Tom Sizemore and Kevin Gage fore director Albert Pyun. Next, she segues to Columbia Pictures' The Adventures of Joe Dirt, co-starring with David Spade in a road trip comedy directed by Dennie Gordon and produced by Adam Sandler, Jack Glarraputo and Robert Simonds. Next, she stars alongside Jerry O'Connell, Shannon Elizabeth and Jake Busey in Revolution Studios Production Tomcats for director Gregory Poirer. Lastly, she stars opposite Nicholas Brendon in the horror/thriller Piñata from filmmakers David and Scott Hillenbrand.

Born in Kinston, North Carolina, Pressly grew up as a tomboy learning to water-ski, fix motorboats, catch and clean fish, and compete with her much older brother. Her mom, a highly accomplished classical dance instructor who trains current and future Joffrey students, put and early claim on her daughter's innate athleticism by teaching her ballet, tap and jazz, and encouraging her toward gymnastics, cheerleading and baton.

At age thirteen, she registered with a local modeling agency and began working consistently. Pressly submitted a photo to international teen modeling agency and by the age of fourteen, her face began to appear on the cover of several prestigious adolescent magazines. She quickly became the spokesperson for her agency, International Cover Model Search, and work took her to Tokyo and Milan, where she lived for two months each.

Audiences will recognize her from her role in the Jerry Springer mock-documentary Ringmaster, in which she starred as teen vixen Angel, and the hit teen comedy Can't Hardly Wait. In December she will appear in Poor White Trash with Jason London and Sean Young and in May she will star in 100 Girls, with Katherine Heigel, Larisa Oleynik and Marissa Ribisi.

On the small screen, Pressly recently starred in the comedic film, Best Actress, E! Entertainment Television's first original movie for television, with Thomas Calabro, Maria Conchita Alonso, and Rachel Hunter. She starred as a former gymnast on the ABC series Push, from the creators of Party of Five.

Living just outside Los Angeles, Pressly spends her time when not working with friends who share her love for the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, horseback riding and swimming. She also continues to dance as she has for the past eighteen years. Gardening, cooking, reading and buying antique furniture are among her other passions.
