Biography #2 (for Igby Goes Down)
Kieran Culkin, a talented and spirited young actor, has already made a formidable impression on the worldwide film audience as one of the most talented actors of his generation. His most recent films include the Jodie Foster-produced The Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys, directed by Peter Care, starring opposite Foster and Jena Malone; The Cider House Rules opposite Michael Caine and Tobey Maguire; and The Music of the Heart with Meryl Streep. In early 2000, he appeared in the James Lapine play The Moment When directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg. Kieran debuted in a starring role opposite Sharon Stone in The Mighty, playing a young Einstein with a degenerative growth disorder who forms a close bond with his next door neighbor as they discover the true meaning of friendship. His first motion picture was John Hughes' international mega-hit Home Alone playing Fuller McAllister. He reprised that role in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. His other films include She's All That, Nowhere to Run, It Runs in the Family, Father of the Bride (parts 1 & 2), and Amanda.
