Dwier Brown

A native of Sharon Center, Ohio, Dwier's professional acting career began in Chicago where he worked with the Organic Theater Company and with Second City. After moving to Los Angeles, he appeared in television's THE THORN BIRDS, A MEMBER OF THE WEDDING, DESPERADO and LILY IN WINTER. Dwier's film role as Kevin Costner's father in FIELD OF DREAMS is probably his most recognized. Other film credits include THE GUARDIAN, MOM & DAD SAVE THE WORLD, THE CUTTING EDGE, GETTYSBURG, INTIMATE BETRAYAL, SAME RIVER TWICE, and he stars in the recent films, DENNIS THE MENACE II and Disney's RIPGIRLS. Dwier is a founding member of the Alliance Repertory Theater and of the Ojai Playwrights festival. He is the founder and current Artistic Director of Theater 150 where he recently starred in the West Coast Premiere of Hate Mail by Bill Corbett and & Kira Obelensky.
