Currently, he is starring in the dual roles of Captain Hook and Mr. Darling in the live action feature Peter Pan, being directed by P.J. Hogan.

Moviegoers recognize Isaacs as Mel Gibson's ruthless adversary Colonel William Tavington in the Revolutionary War drama The Patriot. Isaacs has made three movies with director Paul Anderson: the sci-fi thriller Event Horizon; Soldier, with Kurt Russell; and the British cult film Shopping. His other film credits include Mike Figgis' Hotel; Sweet November, with Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron; Neil Jordan's The End of the Affair; the blockbuster Armageddon; Dragonheart, with Dennis Quaid; and The Tall Guy, in which he made his feature film debut.
