Steven Culp has successfully integrated film, television and stage into a dynamic career. Among his many film credits are Nurse Betty, James and the Giant Peach, Fearless, Dead Again, Gross Anatomy, and the HBO movie Norma Jean and Marilyn.

On television, Culp has gained wide recognition for his recurring role as the mysterious CIA operative Clayton Webb on the CBS series 'JAG". His numerous guest-starring roles include appearances on ER, Ally McBeal, Providence, Chicago Hope, Family Law, Any Day Now, Dream On, and Murphy Brown". He was John Hay in the Emmy-award winning NBC miniseries Gore Vidal's Lincoln, opposite Sam Waterston and Mary Tyler Moore, and recently starred with Angela Lansbury in the CBS MOW, A Story To Die For.

On stage, Culp has received Drama-Logue awards for his work in Angels In America at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, and the west coast premiere of Nicky Silver's Raised in Captivity at South Coast Rep. He has worked with many of the top playwrights and directors in the American theatre, starring in the premieres of Tony Kushner's Slays at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, Terence McNally's The Lisbon Traviata (Theatre Off-Park), A.R. Gurney Jr.'s Sweet Sue (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Keith Reddin's Highest Standard of Living (Playwright's Horizons), Jonathan Tollins' If Memory Serves (Pasadena Play House), and Neil Simon's Actors and Actresses (Heartman Theatre). He starred opposite Annette Bening in Coastal Disturbances on Broadway, and appeared with Kevin Kline in Richard III in Central Park. He is currently starring in the hit play Art at South Coast Rep.
