Alex D. Linz
Alex D. Linz already a seasoned veteran actor at the age of 12, has advice for kids who want to start acting. "Acting is a lot of fun it's like Halloween every day. You get a new costume, a new face, a new identity but at the same time, you've got to be yourself. If you're putting on a fake personality, there's no way you're going to be able to keep up both that personality and also play the role you're supposed to play. You have to be comfortable with yourself."
Linz returns to Disney after voicing the role of Young Tarzan in Disney's 1999 animated release, Tarzan. After making his motion picture debut in One Fine Day, Linz starred in Home Alone 3, Bruno, Bounce and, most recently, Race to Space. He also had lead roles in the movies-for-television The Uninvited and Vanished.
Television credits include the series pilots for Talking Shop and Carson's Vertical Suburbia, and a starring role in Touched by an Angel. This fall, he will be seen in a recurring role on the NBC series, Providence.
Alex was the 1997 recipient of the ShoWest Young Star of Tomorrow award and the Hollywood Reporter YoungStar Award for Best Performance by a young actor in a Comedy Film.
