From MTV to Revlon model to actress, Daisy Fuentes is now a household name with viewers across the world.

The first crossover VJ to appear on both the Spanish language MTV Latino and the original MTV, Fuentes has co-hosted several programs on the cable music network (including One on One with Michael Jordan and Fashionably Loud) and has hosted for MTV Internacional and MTV Latino.

In addition to her duties at MTV, Daisy has most recently taken over as the new host of America's Funniest Home Videos on ABC. She will also continue to represent Revlon's classic cosmetic, fragrance and beauty treatment lines. Fuentes hosted the 1995 Miss Universe pageant in Namibia, Africa as well as the Miss USA pageant. Daisy has also served as host of Miss Teen USA.

A former member of CNBC's Talk All-Stars, Fuentes shared the limelight with such famed talkers as Phil Donahue, Dick Cavett and Geraldo Rivera as host of her own talk show. Airing in prime time on CNBC, Fuentes' interview program featured celebrities like Harry Connick Jr., Patti LaBelle and former MTV-ite Jon Stewart, among others.

Appearing on multiple covers of the Spanish language version of Cosmopolitan, Vandidades and Harper's Bazaar, Fuentes holds a place among the supermodel ranks of Cindy Crawford, Vendela and Halle Berry with a worldwide, multi-year contract to represent Revlon's classic cosmetic, fragrance and beauty treatment lines.

Fuentes also currently holds endorsements with Pantene, M&Ms and American Express. This multi-talented actress and model has been featured in the Miramax film CURDLED, has completed production on an exercise video with Warner Vision's home video and has been showcased in both a 1996 and 1997 16-month calendar layout with Landmark Calendars.

Fuentes began her career in 1985 while studying communications and journalism at Bergen Community College. Selected as a news reporter and anchor for the evening news on WXTV Channel 41, Univision's New York affiliate, Fuentes quickly made her mark on the Latino television community. In January 1988, Daisy assumed a position with WNJU Channel 47, Telemundo's New York affiliate before MTV spotted her to host MTV Internacional. While at MTV, Fuentes held a recurring role on the ABC daytime drama Loving. Fuentes' additional television credits include guest appearances on Dream On, Cybill and most recently The Larry Sanders Show.

In addition to Daisy's other projects as a spokesperson, she will soon be seen representing Samsung, Coors Light and the prestigious Cotton campaign.

Fluent in Spanish and English, Fuentes was born in Havana. Cuba, and left on her third birthday to reside in Spain. Four years later, her family settled in New Jersey, where she still currently resides.
