John Gallagher Jr.
At age 15, Gallagher made his off-Broadway debut at the Manhattan Theatre Club playing the lead role of Ethan in Current Events by David Marshall Grant. His performance was widely praised by New York critics. His regional work includes the world premiere of Kimberly Akimbo at South Coast Repertory Theatre, for which he was nominated for a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award at the age of 17. Gallagher recently reprised his role for the New York premiere of Kimberly Akimbo at the Manhattan Theatre Club.
Gallagher's television work includes the Hallmark Hall of Fame production of Flamingo Rising with William Hurt and Elizabeth McGovern. He appeared last season as a guest lead in the season premiere of NBC's The West Wing, and next season he will be seen on ABC's NYPD Blue. John has also been seen on the hit NBC shows Ed and Law and Order.
Gallagher continues to participate in live theater workshops and readings and is exploring music as a singer-songwriter.
