Jason London

Jason London recently starred in the feature Broken Vessels which won the 1998 Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Award for Best Picture. He also starred opposite his wife, Charlie Spradling, in Gil Cates Jr.'s twenty-something ensemble film, Spent. Most recently, London starred with Sean Young and M. Emmett Walsh in the forthcoming Poor White Trash for writer/director Michael Add is.

London previously starred in Richard Linklater's Dazed and Confused earning kudos for his role as a restless '70s teen, and made his feature debut at age 17 in Robert Mulligan's The Man in the Moon. He has also starred in the features The Rage: Carrie 2, as farm bay Bobby Ray in "Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! J ulie Newmar, December, Learning Curves, Fall Time" with Mickey Rourke and Stephen Baldwin, as well as in Sob Passage with Susan Sarandon and Sam Shepard.

On television, he recently starred in the title role of the Hallmark Hall of Fame miniseries Jason and the Argonauts, based on the Greek myth about the search for the Golden Fleece, as well as starring in the pilot Going to California. Other television appearances include the telefilms Friends 'Til the End and Final Justice, as well as guest-starring roles on the Showtime series The Outer Limits and the HBO anthology If These Walls Could Talk.

The twin brother of Party of Five's Jeremy London, Jason assumed the part his brother played in the acclaimed television series I'll Fly Away when it was revived as a two-hour movie for PBS and scheduling conflicts prohibited Jeremy from reprising the role. The telefilm received an Emmy Award.

Born on a naval base in San Diego London spent his youth in Oklahoma and adolescence in DeSoto, Texas where his mother Debbie worked as a waitress. The twins developed their interests in sports and theater in high school.

In 1990, Jeremy heard about a local open audition for The Man in the Moan to be directed by Mulligan (To Kill a Mockingbird). Jason, who had acquired a car with money from a construction accident that had severed the two middle toes of his left foot, agreed to drive Jeremy. Once there, Jason decided to audition as well — and landed the part.

London currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Charlie, and daughter Cooper.
