Craig T. Nelson

Actor Craig T. Nelson is perhaps best known for his role as Hayden Fox on the hit series Coach, for which he received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and four Golden Globe Award nominations.

He has starred in numerous feature films, including: Devil's Advocate, co-starring Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves; Rob Reiner's Ghosts of Mississippi, with Whoopi Goldberg; I'm Not Rappaport, co-starring Walter Matthau and Ossie Davis; Poltergeist and Poltergeist II - The Other Side (he contributed to the screenplay); The Killing Fields; Silkwood; and The Osterman Weekend.

His television credits are numerous, and include the upcoming USA Network MOW The Huntress, airing March 7, and Showtime's Dirty Pictures, airing in May. He starred in the NBC miniseries To Serve And Protect; NBC's MOW Take Me Home Again, with Kirk Douglas; ABC's MOW Ride With The Wind, which he wrote and executive produced; and HBO's movie The Josephine Baker Story, as columnist Walter Winchell. He also starred in ABC's critically-acclaimed series Call to Glory.

Nelson attended the University of Arizona and studied at the Oxford Theatre in Los Angeles. He began his career as a writer/performer on the Lohman and Barkley Show, which garnered him a Los Angeles Emmy Award for writing. Nelson's additional writing credits include The Alan King Special and The Tim Conway Show.

In 1998 Nelson made his Broadway debut as Nat Miller in Eugene O'Neill's Ah Wilderness!
