Biography #2 (for Dollar for the Dead)

Emilio Estevez made his feature film debut in Tim Hunter's Tex and went on to appear in Francis Ford Coppola's ensemble drama The Outsiders, both based on S.E. Hinton novels. His first starring role was in Alex Cox's cult picture Repo Man. Estevez's performance as a quintessential high-school jock in John Hughes' The Breakfast Club won him wide-spread attention and acclaim. He went on to star in St. Elmo's Fire before appearing in his third film adaptation of an S.E. Hinton book, That Was Then, This is Now, which he also wrote. Estevez made his directorial debut with Wisdom, in which he also starred and wrote. His most recent directorial production is The War at Home, which he produced and starred in opposite his father, Martin Sheen, and Kathy Bates. Additional film credits include Mission: Impossible, Stakeout, Young Guns, Young Guns II, Men at Work, Freejack, The Mighty Ducks franchise, National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon I, Another Stakeout and Judgment Night.
