Gavin O'Connor
Gavin O'Connor began his filmmaking career as writer and producer of The Bet (1992), Ted bemme's directorial debut and the winner of numerous film festival awards. O'Connor went on to write and direct his own award-winning short film, American Standoff, in 1994. Both films aired on PBS, The Independent Film Channel and multiple foreign television stations.
In 1998, with his brother Greg, Gavin O'Connor co-founded Final Cut Features, designed to provide post-production financing and services to independent filmmakers.Tumbleweeds marks O'Connor's feature film acting debut as trucker Jack Ranson. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and currently resides in Los Angeles.
