Nick Stahl
Nick Stahl was born and raised in Harlingen, Texas, and knew from a very young age he wanted to make his living as an actor. After appearances in two television films, the 12-year-old was chosen over hundreds of others by first-time director
Mel Gibson to star in The Man Without a Face.
Over the next few years, Stahl starred in several features and movies for television, and successfully made the often difficult transition from child to adult actor. He appeared in an all-star cast for director Terrence Malick in The Thin Red Line; and was nominated along with his fellow cast members for Outstanding Performance by the Cast of a Theatrical Motion Picture by the Screen Actors Guild for In the Bedroom. He also has been nominated for a Golden Satellite Award and a Saturn Award for his work on the HBO series Carnivàle. Among his other credits are starring roles in blockbuster films such as Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Frank Miller's Sin City.
