Rene Auberjonois
In 1970, he appeared on Broadway opposite Katharine Hepburn in Coco and was honored with a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. In addition to his other Tony-nominated performances in Neil Simon's The Good Doctor and Roger Miller's Big River, and Larry Gelbart's City of Angeles. Auberjonois appeared in such stage productions as Metamorphosis, Richard III, The Misanthrope, Flea in her Ear, The Miser and The Petrified Forest. He has appeared in many productions at Los Angeles' acclaimed Mark Taper Forum.
Among Auberjonois' feature film credits are Snide and Prejudice, Batman Forever, The Ballad of Little Joe, The Player, Walt Disney Pictures' animated classic The Little Mermaid (voice of Louis), Police Academy 5, My Best Friend Is a Vampire, Where the Buffalo Roam, Eyes of Laura Mars, M*A*S*H, McCabe and Mrs. Miller, Pete ‘n' Tillie and King Kong.
His long list of television credits include the hit series Benson in which he starred in the role of Clayton, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He also guest-starred on such popular programs as The Outer Limits, L.A. Law, Murder, She Wrote, Matlock and Civil Wars, among innumerable others.
As a director, Auberjonois helmed multiple episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as well as the series Marblehead Manor.
