John Mann
As a jack-of-all-trades, Mann has built a renaissance career, which includes a body of work ranging from creating soundscapes for theatre to acting in television, film and theatrical productions.
Mann has been seen in numerous dramatic television series including Millennium, Dark Angel, Cold Squad, and Freedom. e was also seen in the feature films Turbulence 3, The Gateway and Lone Hero.
His theatrical experience includes roles in Of Mice and Men at the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre, 2B WUT U R at the Green Thumb Theatre in Vancouver, and King Lear at the Capilano College Theatre.
Mann is a co-founder for Spirit of the West, a pop folk band, which was founded 19 years ago in Vancouver. As the band's lead vocalist, Mann can be found performing live internationally to promote his just released solo album.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Mann moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan before settling back in Vancouver, British Columbia. He studied improvisational theatre at Capilano College in North Vancouver and received further training at Studio 58 in Vancouver.
