Burgess Jenkins
Having played football all his life, Burgess Jenkins was instantly in touch with his character (Ray Budds.) Immediately after completing production on Remember the Titans, he was cast in the lead role on the independent film, Unshackled, also starring Morgan Fairchild and Stacy Keach. The movie is currently being filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, directed by Bart Patton. Based on the life of its writer, Harold Morris, Unshackled is a true story about racial integration during the 70's.
Prior to his acting career, Jenkins was involved in modeling and participated in several national television and print ads. Though he always knew he wanted to become an actor, Jenkins was, at one point, sidelined by his interest in marketing.
Jenkins was born, raised, and still resides in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
