Tanya Wexler
Tanya Wexler received her B.A. from Yale University and her M.F.A. from Columbia University, Graduate Film Division. At Columbia she directed the short films The Dance and Cool Shoes. The Dance played at The Telluride Film Festival, The Seattle Film Festival, and The First Look Series (sponsored by Kodak), among others. Her debut feature, Finding North, premiered to sold out audiences at the 1998 Palm Springs International Film Festival, then played at The South-by-Southwest Film Festival, The New York Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, The San Francisco International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, and Outfest, The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, among others. It was released theatrically by Cowboy Booking.
