Spiro Malas

Spiro Malas made his Broadway debut in 1992 as Tony in the revival of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella for which he received the Theatre World Award. His most recent Broadway appearance was in Golden Boy, directed by Joanne Woodward. Mr. Malas was a mainstay of the New York City Opera and in 1983 made his Metropolitan Opera debut in The Daughter of the Regiment (with Joan Sutherland). Returning to Broadway, he appeared in Fanny, Oklahoma!, Fiddler on the Roof and South Pacific. His television appearances include Spencer for Hire and The Equalizer, as well various opera telecasts.
