Mark Burg
Burg produced The Gingerbread Man, based on an original story by John Grisham and directed by Robert Altman, starring Kenneth Branagh, Embeth Davidtz, Robert Downey Jr., Daryl Hannah, Famke Janssen, Tom Berenger and Robert Duvall.
In October 1998, Burg co-founded Evolution Entertainment with Oren Koules, former Senior Vice-President of Paramount Pictures. Together, Burg and Koules have produced Black and White, directed by Jim Toback and starring Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr., as well as Lockdown, directed by John Luessenhop and starring Richard T. Jones and Gabriel Casseus and Dumb and Dumberer for New Line Cinema.
The pair also produced Diary of a Sex Addict starring Rosanna Arquette and Natassja Kinski, and Good Advice, directed by Steve Rash, starring Charlie Sheen, Angie Harmon, Denise Richards and Jon Lovitz. Recently, Burg and Koules produced John Q, helmed by Nick Cassavettes, and starring Denzel Washington, Robert Duvall, Anne Heche and James Woods.
Currently, Burg is the executive producer for the television series Two and a Half Men, starring Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer for CBS.
