Amanda Redman
Most recently seen on British television as Alison Braithwaites in Yorkshire TV series At Home With the Braithwaites and in the lead role in the bio-pic of Diana Dors' life entitled Blonde Bombshell, Amanda Redman trained at Bristol Old Vic school and appeared on stage extensively at Bristol in a variety of modern and classic works. She has also appeared at the Royal National Theatre, most recently in the role of Regan in King Lear, directed by Sir Richard Eyre, which was also televised.
Other television appearances include roles in The Men's Room, the controversial drama directed by Antonia Bird, as a leading character in the popular TV series Dangerfield, and in the title role of the BBC TV series Beck, starring as a private detective. Since completing filming on SEXY BEAST, Amanda Redman has starred on television opposite Lenny Henry in the second series of the BBC series Hope and Glory
