Hank Harris

Hank Harris marks his first starring role in a major motion picture with Pumpkin, having previously made his name with his commercial and television roles. He has also recently completed Sign of the Times, a feature film which he co-wrote, co-produced and stars in, and Milwaukee, Minnesota, in which he stars opposite Randy Quaid and Troy Garity. Harris started his Hollywood career working in commercials and has appeared in more than 20 national ads, including starring as the Mmm . . . beefy boy in 11 commercials for Chef Boyardee. His work in these ads landed him on the pages of Teen magazine when readers wrote into the magazine asking, Who's that Babe? He formerly starred as Noah on the popular Discovery Channel program Animal Rescue Kids and had recurring roles on The Secret World of Alex Mack and the WB series Popular. In addition he has made several guest-starring appearances on popular programs such as Providence, 7th Heaven, and, most recently, a super-creepy episode of The X-Files.

Born John Henry Harris Neill in Lindsborg, Kansas, Harris was raised as an only child in Duluth, Minnesota, before moving to Santa Fe. As a youngster he dabbled in sculpture and community theatre. Harris graduated high school early and moved to Los Angeles where he continued to study his craft at Playhouse West under Jeff Goldblum, Young Actor's Space with Diane Hardin, and Rocky Mountain Talent Pool with Nina Axelrod. He currently enjoys a peaceful existence in the Hollywood Hills with his dog Jem.
