Dan Joffre
Joffre moved to Vancouver in 1997 to pursue his love of comedy, and was selected to study improvisation/ sketch in the resident training program of The Vancouver Theatre-Sports League. Soon after, as a main stage player, he began performing in the Theatre's numerous comedic formats.
Recently, Joffre caught the eye of Keenen Ivory Wayans and the casting team of SCARY MOVIE, when he won the 1999 Just For Laughs World Improv Championships in Montreal. Joffre was selected as the tournament's MVP.
Upcoming, in addition to SCARY MOVIE, Joffre will be seen in Duets, directed by Bruce Paltrow and starring Gwyneth Paltrow, and Buena Vista's Soul Survivor.
His television credits have included the principal antagonist on The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, a guest starring role on Disney's Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and a series lead on PBS's The Charlie Horse Music Pizza Show, starring the late Shari Lewis.
