Scarlett Chorvat

Born in Bratislava, Slovakia, Scarlett Chorvat was named after one of the most famous fictional characters in literary and cinema history by her mother, who was enamored with the book Gone With the Wind. Early in her childhood the Chorvat (pronounced Shorevaht) family immigrated to America and Detroit, MI.

Scarlett was handpicked by producer Joel Silver to star in the UPN series Freedom. She later appeared in a recurring role on The District. Her feature film work includes Buying the Cow.

Before segueing into acting full-time, Scarlett was a successful model and starred in numerous commercials, including a highly visible Michelob Beer spot.

An active sportswoman, Scarlett played competitive tennis for years before turning her attention to modeling and, later, to acting. Besides the many philanthropic tennis tournaments she participates in, she is an avid snowboarder and loves to play the guitar.
