Kerry Armstrong

Kerry Armstrong is a familiar face on Australian television where she first appeared in roles in the long running and well known local series The Sullivans and Prisoner during the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Since then Armstrong has worked consistently with roles in celebrated Australian series including Police Rescue, All Together Now, Blue Healers and Come In Spinner. She is best known for her role in the hugely successful Australian Broadcasting Corporation's Seachange where she played the role of Heather Jelly. This role won Armstrong the 2001 Silver Logie for Most Outstanding Female Actress.

Armstrong has also worked extensively in theatre in Australia and overseas. She has performed in theatre productions in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, and in Australia with the Melbourne Theatre Company.

Other feature films Armstrong has appeared in are Justice, Amy, Mark Joffe's Bodily Harm and Bruce Bereford's The Getting of Wisdom.
