Cam' Ron

Cam'ron continues to develop his considerable talents with his first foray into the film industry. He makes his feature film debut with Paid in Full.

Born and raised in Harlem, Cam'ron grew up in love with basketball, becoming an All-City and All-American point guard playing with his teammate and fellow rapper Mase. Cam' Ron had envisioned himself playing pro ball, but an injury forced him to the sidelines. His entry into the rap world began with an introduction to Notorious B.I.G. through Mase. Impressed with Cam' Ron, B.I.G. secured him with a record deal with Untertainment, and in 1998 he had his gold-record debut,Confessions of Fire. Collaborating with some of the hottest voices in the hip hop culture such as DMX and Mase, Cam'ron offered distinctive rhymes entirely his own depicting life in the inner city. When Untertainment lost its distribution, Cam' Ron was eagerly picked up by Epic Records. His sophomore release S.D.E.,( Sports, Drugs, Entertainment ), was also certified gold and produced a smash hit with What Means the World to You.

In 2002, Cam' Ron joined the Roc-a-Fella Records label. I' ve known Damon Dash since I was a kid, says Cam' Ron, " Both of us grew up in Harlem together and I' ve seen him build Roc-A-Fella from nothing."Roc-A-Fella released Cam' Ron' s eagerly awaited third album, Come Home With Me.
