Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Lengies has always had a love for the arts. She began acting professionally at the age of nine, appearing in cable family shows and voicing several animated characters. Her television credits include regular roles on the children's cable series Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Sponk!, as well as a co-host role on the science program Popular Mechanics for Kids. She also starred in the cable film Ratz with Ron Silver and Kathy Baker. In addition, Lengies has lent her voice to leading characters in a variety of animated series, including The Little Lulu Show, Arthur and Caillou. She will also be heard in the upcoming feature film version of the series Arthur, the Movie and will star in Jessica Bendinger's film Stick It.
Away from work, Lengies divides her time among snowboarding, event planning, dancing and singing. When not filming her series, she lives in Montreal with her mother (an artist) and father (writer/music producer), where she just completed her high school education. She looks forward to attending college and receiving a degree in architecture.
