Joy Enriquez
Prior to 7th Heaven, Enriquez appeared on Showtime's Resurrection Blvd and CBS's highly rated soap The Bold and the Beautiful. She has also hosted Nickelodeon's Slime Time Live and was featured on a Fox Family concert special with Pink and Dream. All this followed major coverage in magazines such as Glamour, Cosmo Girl, Elle Girl, Interview, Latin Girl, Vibe, Women's Wear Daily, Urban Latino and others. Enriquez has also obtained coveted spokesperson contracts. In addition to the Candies Foundation, she is also a spokes model for L'Oreal and currently appears in a major national campaign for L'Oreal hair products (spots are concurrently running on TV and in film theaters).
In addition to all her activities and the release of a self-titled debut album, Enriquez also recorded the Golden Globe nominated song How Can I Not Love You from the 20th Century Fox motion picture Anna and the King, starring Jodie Foster & Chow Yun-Fat, and was asked to redo the classic Disney tune Bella Notte as a duet with Latin pop star Carlos Ponce for Disney animation's Lady & the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure.
A most recent accomplishment to add to her list of growing credits is her nomination for the 2002 ALMA Awards for Best Breakthrough Artist.
