Salvatore Cascio
Eight year-old Salvatore Cascio was chosen from over 300 Sicilian boys to play the role of young Toto - despite the fact that he had never been in a movie theatre before. Cascio went on to reunite with Giuseppe Tornatore in Everybody's Fine. His other credits include There Was a Castle with 40 Dogs, Breath of Life, The Pope Must Die and Jackpot.
