Earlier this year, Vogel received raves for his starring roles in Supercross and the young adult ensemble drama The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, opposite Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively and Amber Tamblyn.

Vogel won critical praise for his break-through performance in MTV's musical adaptation of Wuthering Heights and, in 2003, starred opposite Jessica Biel in the box office hit The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Biography #3 (for Grind)

Mike Vogel had previously been known to television audiences for his recurring role as Dean on the popular Fox series Grounded for Life. However, Vogel will soon be seen in the starring role of Heathcliff in MTV's contempory remake Wuthering Heights, CA alongside Erika Christensen, Chris Masterson and Katherine Heigl, which will be televised in September. Not only does Vogel star in the leading role, he also performs musical numbers that were written by legendary musical impresario Jim Steinman, best known for his contributions to Meatloaf's seminal classic Bat Out of Hell.

Next, Vogel will appear in New Line Cinema's edgy remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The film was directed by award-winning commercial director Marcus Nispel, produced by Michael Bay and is set for release in October. Vogel stars opposite an exciting cast of young stars including Jessica Biel and Erica Leerhsen in the film that will introduce a new generation of moviegoers to the horror classic.

Hailing from the small town of Abington, Pennsylvania, Vogel spent a year commuting to New York City for auditions to pursue his career in acting. By the end of the year, he had booked his recurring role on the hit Fox series Grounded for Life, which spawned his move to Los Angeles.
