Jon Hamm
Jon Hamm plays the lead character of Don Draper in the critically acclaimed, Emmy-winning AMC series Mad Men, created by Matthew Weiner, about the professional lives, social mores and sexual exploits of advertising executives on Madison Avenue circa 1960. Hamm recently won a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama for his performance on the show, which also won a Golden Globe and Emmy for Best Television Series - Drama. Hamm co-stars with Josh Lucas in the independent thriller The Boy in The Box.
His additional film credits include Kissing Jessica Stein, We Were Soldiers, Space Cowboys, Early Bird Special and Cheese And Crackers.
Hamm appeared in the ABC series What About Brian and CBS' The Unit and was a series regular in Related and The Division. Hamm has also made guest star appearances on CSI: Miami, Point Pleasant and NUMB3RS."
Hamm's extensive theatre credits include Off Broadway, Los Angeles theatre and regional work, appearing in Lipschtick, Timon of Athens, The Mousetrap, Murder by the Book, and The Years and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Hamm received a B.A. in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia and studied at the Janet Alhanti Studios in Los Angeles.
