Toni Cecchinato

Italian-born actor Toni Cecchinato has been working in Europe for over 20 years, with film credits that include M. Laithem's La Nuit des Vagabonds, P. Moraz's The Lost Way, Juliet Berto and H. Roger's Neige, Juliet Berto's Cap Canaille, Benoit Jacquot's A Single Girl, Martine Dugowson's Mina Tannenbaum, Pierre Granier-Deferre's Widow's Walk and Serge Leroy's The Fourth Power.

Very active in the theatre, Cecchinato was part of the i97o's troupe Nouvelle Scene Internationale, serving as stage manager, actor and translator of Dario Fo's texts. Later, he adapted Fo's play Petite et Grandes Violence de tons les Jours into French. He then founded the troupe Sans-Sousi where he was translator, adapter, director and set director, touring both Belgium and France. He also presented his version of Dario Fo's play Assiettes Cassees in Montreal.
