Gémeaux Award-winning actress Michèle-Barbara Pelletier appeared in Denys Arcand's critically acclaimed drama, Love and Human Remain; Embrasse-moi, c'est pour la vie, directed by Jean-Guy Noël; the sci-fi thriller, Brainscan with Edward Furlong and Frank Langella; the television movie Spring Awakening with Sherilyn Fenn; and Lea Pool's Genie-nominated romance, Mouvements du désir. Pelletier also appeared in Alan Rudolph's Oscar-nominated romance, Afterglow, starring Julie Christie and Nick Nolte; Costa-Gavras' drama, Mad City with Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta; plus the Genie-nominated La Comtesse de Bton Rouge.
