Ivan de Almeida

Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, 64 years of age, Ivan has had a long career in the theater, cinema and on TV. His first film role was in 1973, in A Hora e a Vez do Samba, along with Martinho da Vila and Monsueto. He then played in Lúcio Fldvio, Passenger of Agony (1976), the biggest commercial success of his career ("my character, Lécio de Paula, was a freed criminal, a very important figure in the story"). On TV, Ivan has played in such serials as Irmccos Coragem, Os Ossos do Barcco, Pantanal, Dona Beja, Carmen, Fascina(cco and the comedies Chico Anysio and Trapalhóes. More recently, in the Sandy & Júnior series, he played the disillusioned trumpeter Paulo Café.
