Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell can currently be seen on NBC's hit series Heroes, as the mysterious Elle Bishop. An agent of The Company, she possesses the power to generate and manipulate electricity.

For three seasons, Bell starred in the title role of the Joel Silver-produced CW series Veronica Mars, in which she played a smart, fearless apprentice private investigator dedicated to solving her wealthy seaside town's toughest mysteries. The show debuted in September 2004 on UPN.

Recently, Bell starred in The Weinstein Company's sci-fi thriller Pulse. Her previous film roles include the kidnapped daughter of the president in the David Mamet thriller Spartan, opposite Val Kilmer, for Warner Bros. She also appeared in the independent feature Fifty Pills, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Bell has completed production on the highly anticipated Weinstein production Fanboys, a comedic drama about young, die-hard Star Wars fans who take a road trip to try to infiltrate George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch. Next up, Bell begins production on the Disney romantic comedy When in Rome. She will star as a successful real estate agent who can't find love in New York, but when she goes to Rome and collects coins from a fountain of love, she becomes inundated with potential loves.

Kristen starred in 2004's camp musical Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical on Showtime Networks, which was based on the hit play, in which she also starred off- Broadway. Previously, Bell was best known for her recurring role in the HBO series Deadwood. Her additional television credits include lead roles in the critically acclaimed made-for-television movie Gracie's Choice, opposite Anne Heche and Diane Ladd, as well as The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay, with Tim Matheson, Sean Young and Ed Asner. Bell has also had guest-starring roles on such series as American Dreams, The Shield and Everwood.

On stage, Bell appeared in the Los Angeles Opera's all-star production of the Stephen Sondheim musical A Little Night Music, just prior to beginning production on Veronica Mars. Previously, she starred in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, with Liam Neeson and Laura Linney, the Broadway production of Tom Sawyer; and she played the title role in the world premiere production of the musical Sneaux. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Bell attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
