Garry Chalk

At the age of six, Chalk moved from South Hampton, England to Vancouver, Canada. After trying a variety of careers, including the army, the stock market and social services, he saw a production of Of Mice and Men which inspired him to become an actor.

Initially performing in theatres across Canada and participating in comedy improvisation, Chalk worked his way into national and local television commercials, videos and industrial films.

Over the last few years, Chalk has worked virtually non-stop in television series and movies of the week. These projects have included Doorways to the Unknown, Palace Guard, Broken Badges, Small Sacrifices, MacGyver, Highlander and Woman on the Ledge. Recent credits include Freddy vs. Jason and The Karate Dog.

He is a regular in the voice production houses in Vancouver and his list of regional and national radio spots and campaigns includes spots for General Motors, Toyota, McDonald's, General Paint, GM Goodwrench and ABC Restaurants.

Chalk's wide range of character voices have been a part of such animation series as T-Rex, Dream Patrol, Conan, G.I. Joe, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice and Transformers: Beast Machines. He has lent his voice to the animated features The Fearless Four, Rudolph, Camelot and Reboot: The Movie. Other credits include a regular role on the series Cold Squad, and a recurring role on Showtime's Beggars and Choosers.
