Biography #2 (for Empire)

Denise Richards most recently starred alongside Eddie Griffin and Chris Kattan in Imagine Entertainment's and Universal Pictures' critically-acclaimed comedy Undercover Brother, directed by Malcolm Lee. She also starred in the romantic comedy The Third Wheel opposite Luke Wilson, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Produced by Damon and Affleck's Pearl Street Productions, the film was directed by Jordan Brady. Richards was also seen in the romantic comedy Good Advice, opposite Charlie Sheen and Angie Harmon, which premiered on HBO in 2002. The actress has also completed production on the independent film You Stupid Man, written and directed by Brian Burns; she stars opposite Mila Jovovich and Ed Burns.

Richards achieved worldwide fame as 'Dr. Christmas Jones' (The Bond Girl) in the hugely successful film The World Is Not Enough opposite Pierce Brosnan, Sophie Marceau, Dame Judi Dench and John Cleese. Her other credits include co-starring in Drop Dead Gorgeous opposite Kirstie Alley, Ellen Barkin and Kirsten Dunst. Prior to that, she came to attention in the thriller Wild Things, co-starring with Kevin Bacon, Matt Dillon and Neve Campbell as a beautiful heiress with a mysterious past. Richards made her big-screen debut in Paul Verhoeven's box office hit Starship Troopers, showcased alongside a cast of fresh young talents including Caspar Van Dien, Neil Patrick Harris, Jake Busey and Dina Meyer. She also appeared in the comedy road movie Tail Lights Fade, executive produced by Kevin Smith.

On television, Richards made a memorable appearance on Seinfeld. She first received critical notice as a series regular in Against the Grain opposite Ben Affleck and in the television film In the Blink of an Eye, playing Mimi Rogers' daughter.
