Michael Showalter
Michael Showalter (born June 17, 1970 in Princeton, New Jersey to an Episcopalian father and a Jewish mother) is an American actor best known as one-third of the protagonist trio of Stella. He also co-produced and starred in Wet Hot American Summer (2001) with David Wain and was a correspondent on The Daily Show (1996). Showalter also wrote, directed, and starred in The Baxter (2005), with Michelle Williams and Justin Theroux. His beloved cat Lester is deceased. Showalter was the host of the sports show Cheap Seats on ESPN Classic in the pilot episode as Ron Parker, an arrogant host. However, a bookcase fell on Parker and brothers Randy Sklar and Jason Sklar, tape librarians, took over the hosting duties.
Showalter is part of the comedy trio Stella and was a cast member on MTV's The State.
