Blanca Portillo
Ms. Portillo is a well-known actress in Spain due to her role in the TV series 7 Vidas. Her first role in cinema came with the film Rojas (Azucena Rodríguez, 1995), and from there many other films followed: El perro del hortelano (Pilar Miró, 1995), Eso (Fernando Colomo, 1996), El color de las nubes (Mario Camus, 1997), Cosas nuestras (José Pascual, 1997), Entre las piernas (Manuel G.Pereira, 1998), Sólo mía (Javier Balaguer, 2001) o Los nombres de Alicia (Pilar Ruiz Gutiérrez, 2004).
The Actors Union Award in 1998 for Best Suporting Theatre Actress (for Esclavos) was the beginning of a numerous list of awards in Blanca's career which includes, among others, a nomination to the Goya Awards - Best Emerging actress in 1998 (for El color de las nubes), two Max Awards one as Best Actress in 2002 (for Madre, el drama padre) and an other one as Best Suporting Actress in 2004 (for Como en las mejores familias), as well as the Actors' Union Award 2001 as Best TV actress for her role in the series 7 Vidas.
