Vincente Minnelli
Vincente Minnelli is the stage name for Lester Anthony Minnelli (February 28, 1903 - July 25, 1986) who was born in Chicago, Illinois. Although an accomplished film director of the 1940s and 1950s, he is best known as the father of Liza Minnelli from his six-year marriage to Judy Garland.
He was the only surviving child of Vincent Minnelli, the conductor of the Minelli Brothers' Tent Theatre.
Minnelli is credited with inventing the crab dolly for movie cameras.
On his passing, he was interred in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, California.
